My Own present or Autoregalo

Every year I use to buy an own present for myself,...

And this year, I decided to buy my own telescope,... if you know me, you can think that
this could be another crazy idea from me,... well, I have to say, that, with a 95% accuracy you are right

You can think that this present has ended all my savings,... ( Crazy Artzai, he has to buy a house!!! )
hopefully, this time you are wrong,... why,... because i bought the LidlScope!!!!.

What's the hell a Lidlscope is????, this is actually a good question :-), a lidlscope, is a telescope sold in Lidl Stores which they use to sell there from time to time as a special offer.

These telescopes use to cost 300€ normally, but Lidlscopes cost 69.99€,... you can imagine, that although they are not going to be good quality state of the art telescopes, there is a point on getting into astronomy with these telescopes.




I learned how to calibrate the telescope and how to find stars in the sky, looking at the sky maps and the coordinates in the telescope rulers, ... hopefully i will be able to find something more than Polaris and the moon .

Besides, we are going to bring the telescope to some of our caving trips :-), as, in Irish countryside there is no light contamination!!!! ( Looking forward to doing that ).

But that is not all,... I have also bought an adapter for my SLR camera, to be able to get photographs with the telescope,... and here you have the results,...
